Hi, I am trying to translate this quote into English. I would appreciate it if you could check my translation.

My Translation:
The geographical borders of Paris and London are not mixed up. Paris, certainly, is not Champs-Élysées nor Montmartre, late appended; it is less and less the Royal Palace where not long ago a diverse rabble of the elegant ones and robbers socialized with each other.

Thanks

I'm no expert, but I would suggest a slightly looser translation:

Paris and London should not be confused with their geographical boundaries. Paris, of course, is not just the Champs-Élysées or Montmartre, which were incorporated later; even less is it the Palais-Royal where not so long ago an eccentric rabble used to throng, where elegant folk rubbed shoulders with criminals.
